GREAT HUNT '17 Scheldue

A quick reminder that tomorrow we will host our birthday party event - the GREAT HUNT! Here's a short timetable for all of the things that will happen:

14:00 (UK)/15:00 (EU) - The GREAT HUNT begins! We meet at our HQ and start with our newest competiton, Hide 'n' Sniff! A game of hide and seek between team Predator and Prey!

About 15:00 (UK)/16:00 (EU) - Hunter Games start. Or, the Great Werewolf Race. Earn 10 000 gold and the title of "Huntmaster" (for a limited time)!

About 16:00 (UK)/17:00 (EU)The GREAT HUNT Eternal Hunt begins! A two hour PvP/PvE event which mirrors our standard Eternal Hunt rules - depending of the size of the group we either go to a dungeon, Cyrodiil or we perform a Trial! And as stated before - "with teeth" aka werewolves only!

About 18:00 (UK)/19:00 (EU) - the event ends, there will be a small speech from the Alpha and if there are still people interested we can host an after-party with dancing and doing silly stuff!

GREAT HUNT: Hide 'n' Sniff

Hello Tribe! Time for another game that will be hosted during the GREAT HUNT! For the first time, introducing: Hide 'n' Sniff - a game of hide and seek among the werewolves! Some may say it's "unwerewolfish" (shh, I just invented this word :P) but it is not! This game is all about patience and patient hunter always gets his prey!

THE RULES: 

• There will be two teams: Predators and Prey. 
• Team Predator must find all members of team Prey in order to win before the timer runs out.
• Next comes the second round and the teams are switching, so team Predator becomes team Prey and vice versa.
• The fastest of the Predator teams wins the contest and wins! Prizes included!

RESTRICTIONS:

• The game will take place in a specific area that you can't leave. Leaving the designated area means a player is disqualified and will not be the part of the round anymore.
• The game will take place in the overworld area, so you can't enter any loading area's (such as delves or Outlaw's Refugee). You can hide inside homes, unless as stated they will find
• Team Prey will always group with the host of the GREAT HUNT, so he can see where are the players hiding.
• Constantly breaking the rules will get a player kicked out of the event and if, necessary, from the Tribe. Have some sportmanship!

Hide 'n' Sniff will be part of the GREAT HUNT event starting at 14:00 (UK)/ 15:00 (EU)! Bring your tabards and show your support for our guild (and reserve few hours of your life to fully experience it)!

GREAT HUNT: Eternal Hunt

Like last year, during the GREAT HUNT we will have our ongoing PvP/PvE event happening, the Eternal Hunt! Depending on the size of the group we will either perform various Dungeons, Go to Cyrodiil and/or Imperial City or have a Trial. The catch? Well, you remember when I spoke about getting back to the prime werewolf experience in my "With teeth" article? Well the catch is we will be doing those things in our WEREWOLF FORMS so make sure you will have your werewolf characters selected! It's fitting that it starts on the GREAT HUNT!

So, sharpen your claws and fangs, get your warpaint ready, because during this anniversary event WE HUNT! Saturday the 30th, the event starts at 14:00 (UK)/ 15:00 (EU) and will last few hours so make sure you will be able to make it!

GREAT HUNT: Hunter Games

Are you ready to be the ultimate hunter?

During the Great Hunt there will be held a special contest, called the Hunter Games, in which YOU can prove that you are the ultimate hunter! What is this so-called Hunter Games, you ask? It's a race across the Rift in which you show how good you are as a werewolf! There will be only two rules players will need to know:

- You have to race in the werewolf form

- If you can't sustain your werewolf form and transform back into your normal character, you lose.

- Oh, and you need to get from point A to B of course.

The winner of this contest not only will win eternal glory, but also 10 000 gold in cold hard cash and a temporary special rank within the guild: "Huntmaster". The catch? A 1 000 gold to secure your entry in this contest (and help with the guild's finances)!

During the Great Hunt prove to others that you are the ultimate hunter! Saturday the 30th is closer than you think!

The Gathering of 23/09/17

The GREAT HUNT is coming (30/09/17)!

The Alpha is back and so our weekly Grand Events resume! We're starting things off with our RP event, the Gathering!

"War. Pain. Loss. Bloodshed. These are just examples of daily werewolf lives. But within the ranks of Bloodmoon Tribe there is a place where all that can be forgotten for a little while. A drink or two with good companions, a well-rested sleep without worring for ambush or hearing wisdom coming from the Alpha's lips to soothe away the pain. These things can be found in the Hidden Court."

Join us this Saturday for some tavern talks! Everyone is welcome, both new to RP and veterans alike! We're meeting at our headquaters (@onslo86 primary residence) at 18:00 (UK)/19:00 (EU). Be there or be square!

With teeth

Technically it's my holiday, but after a whole day drive through Europe, I can't sleep in the hotel room I've rented. So, Tribe, you'll have a chance to see some of my insight into a matter we discussed at the Moot last Saturday.

The matter I'm speaking of is our werewolf theme (or gimmick). As you know, we do require at least one of your characters to be a werewolf before you can be one of us. It's due to our werewolf gimmick as I said, but recently... well, things are different. Sure, the RP Grand Events still are 100% werewolf accustomed, but our more popular Grand Event, Eternal Hunt... lost it's way. See, the main purpose was to run around in pvp/trial/dungeon/dragonstar arena in packs of werewolves and so we did! Yet recently, we've stopped doing this and while i was okay with it, some of the brothers and sisters weren't and theu have shared their concerns with me.

As I said before, we're a werewolf guild. And it struck me hard to realise, that if we continue to do our events like this, we will loose the thing that has drawn us all together - the love of the werewolves, the ability to morph into a monstrous killing machine and other savage fury themes.

While the RP remains good how it is right now, Eternal Hunt will need some redoing. So as of now, on the next Eternal Hunt and forth, we're brining the "play only as werewolf" rule. That means your characters can only use ultimate to transform in to a werewolf and fight in that form. No other ultimates are allowed. In short: we're coming back as we always intended to be.

Guild events suspended until 16/09/17

Hello Tribe. This news was previously announced on the Moot, but for all who weren't attending - due to some personal issues, I won't be able to organize the next two Grand Events. Therefore, GUILD EVENTS ARE SUSPENDED FROM 08/09/17 TO 16/09/17. After this date I will be back to normal and don't worry, we have the GREAT HUNT coming 30th :)
